I truly enjoyed my visit to the Peggys Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia in July of 2018. It was so peaceful as I beat all of the tourists to this location by getting out to the location at 5am for sunrise. Get there early if you want the place to yourself.
My love of photography began when I moved to Arizona in 1999. You learn to truly appreciate the beauty of nature when you are surrounded by the spectacular scenery in Sedona, Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon and Saguaro National Park. I recall purchasing a Canon Rebel before my first trip to the Grand Canyon. My hope was to take a part of this incredible wonder of nature home with me. As with most artists, I was influenced by many of the great photographers of yesterday and today. Among them are, Ansel Adams, Thomas Mangelsen, and Peter Lik.
